"You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it”

–Magaret Thatcher

In 2013, I decided I was done fighting day in and day out with my weight.  I'm also a Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome patient and losing weight isn't easy for us...at all.  PCOS affects women from head to toe and inside out.  I didn't know how to manage it properly or how to eat right, I had no guidance and it made everything in my life difficult and ruined my relationship with myself and my body.

I tried everything to lose weight....Weight Watchers, prescription weight loss drugs, Atkins, low crab crash diets, fad diets...you name it I tried it and the weight just came back!  I'm not saying that those diets don't work...because they do for some people...but not everyone.  I was at my highest weight of 250 pounds and at the height of 5'4" that's not really ideal!  I finally decided what I wanted and needed to do...so I booked a consult and was approved for the sleeve gastrectomy.  After a hiatal hernia and terrible acid reflux came about a few years later, I was converted to the gastric bypass in 2016.  I had finally reclaimed my health and confidence!

Please believe me when I say bariatric surgery isn't a quick fix, its a tool.  And it's definitely not taking the easy way out because believe me when I say it's not easy. Sure you loose the pounds and pretty fast might I add, but what they don't really prep you for is the actual lifestyle change.

Which is where I come in!

I can and will be there with you every step of the way!
